The South Australian Cricket Association (SACA) has announced its 12-man squad for the Marsh One-Day Cup final match against New South Wales on March 10, 2023. The squad includes a mix of experienced players and promising youngsters, as the team seeks to win the cup for the first time since the 2011–12 season.

Travis Head, Callum Ferguson and Tom Cooper are among the experienced players in the squad. Head, who is also the captain of the team, has been in excellent form in the tournament so far, scoring 386 runs in 8 matches at an average of 55.14. Ferguson and Cooper, both experienced batsmen, have also contributed significantly to the team's success this season.

Among the promising youngsters named in the squad are Cameron Valente, Harry Nielsen and Wes Agar. Valente, an all-rounder, has been in good form with both bat and ball this season, while wicketkeeper-batsman Nielsen has impressed with his performances behind the stumps. Pacer Agar has shown his potential in the limited opportunities he has got so far.

The team also includes two experienced bowlers in the form of Daniel Worrall and Chad Sayers. Right-arm fast bowler Worrall has been in scintillating form this season, taking 19 wickets in 8 matches at an average of 18.68. Right-arm medium-pacer Sayers has been a consistent performer for the team over the years and is expected to play a key role in the final.

However, the team will be without the services of Alex Carey, who has been named in the Australian T20 squad for the upcoming series against Sri Lanka. Carey, who is also the team's wicket-keeper, has been in good form this season, scoring 323 runs in 7 matches at an average of 53.83.

Also, the team will be without the services of Joe Mennie and Kane Richardson, both of whom are injured. Right-arm seamer Manny has been a regular member of the team for quite some time, while right-arm fast-medium seamer Richard plays for the team on a sporadic basis.

SACA chief executive Keith Bradshaw expressed his confidence in the team, saying "We have a good mix of experienced players and promising youngsters in the team, and we are confident that they will be able to perform to the best of their abilities in the final." It's a big match for us, and we're looking forward to it."
